STADA BELGIUM ON A WINNING TRACK
Special days for all STADA colleagues in Belgium: Last week, EG won a silver Belgian Effie Award for the Lunestil launch campaign: ‘A dream case for the dreamed sleep’. On Sunday 3rd of October, 30 EG colleagues participated in the Dendermonde City 1/8th Triathlon. Both examples of good teamwork and a great One STADA spirit.
Award winning Lunestil campaign
In line with STADA’s Purpose: Caring for people’s health as a trusted partner, the Belgian team managed to help thousands of Belgians to sleep healthily again. Lunestil is a sleep food supplement in an innovative duo delayed release capsule. It contains powerful and natural ingredients for a good and healthy sleep. Thanks to a comprehensive marketing and advertising campaign, it had already become the number one sleep food supplement in Belgium the first month after launch.

This campaign now won a silver Effie in Belgium. Effie stands for effectiveness in marketing communications, spotlighting marketing ideas that work and encouraging thoughtful dialogue about the drivers of marketing effectiveness. “We want to thank everybody at EG and our external partners for making this dream come true”, says Lieve Pattyn, Sales & Marketing Director at EG. Adding: “From the creation of the product, to the launch of the brand together with our distinctive campaign – everything was a great success. This is now honored by the Effie Award.”
After the success of Lunestil on the local Belgium market, the product will now also be introduced to other European markets. Therefore, the campaign provides a great basis for implementation in other countries.

Success through team effort
After the great success by the Effie Awards, STADA Belgium topped it off on Sunday October 3rd in terms of team spirit: Under the lead of of the Medical Sales Manager Wim Denolf, 30 EG colleagues participated in the Dendermonde City 1/8th Triathlon. The triathlon was cancelled twice due to COVID-19 measures and on October 3rd almost cancelled due to heavy rain and wind. But this only spurred the colleagues on even more and together as a team they reached the finish line.

Sigrid Wolfs, Head of HR Belgium and Mid-Sized European Markets, emphasizes proudly: “Many of us needed to step out of our comfort zone as the weather was very stormy, windy and cold. The prouder I am on all the colleagues who went the extra mile. And a big thanks for Wim for mobilizing and energizing all of us!”
At the 1/8 mixed triathlon relay, the participants needed to swim 500 m, ride 23 km by bicycle and run 5 km. Start and finish were the Grote Market of Dendermonde, where many spectators attended the race despite bad weather conditions.
